EXAMPLE
These are examples, not real clients. Each one is a made-up composite. The gaps come from patterns we saw in public Google Maps listings for Southern Nevada trades on Nov 1, 2026 (HVAC, roofing, landscaping). Names, exact numbers and details have been changed, so no example points to a real business. Nothing here claims a result.
EXAMPLE · not a real business
Example 1: a small HVAC company in Henderson
| Item | Before | After (the fix) |
|---|---|---|
| Hours | No hours listed. Google shows nothing, so a customer can't tell if anyone will answer. | Regular hours added, plus a note for after-hours emergency calls if they take them. Holiday hours set for Thanksgiving through New Year's. |
| Categories | Primary category only: "HVAC contractor." | Primary kept. Added secondary categories that match the real work, like "Air conditioning repair service" and "Furnace repair service." |
| Reviews | 5.0 stars from about 35 reviews. Several recent reviews have no owner reply. | Short, personal replies drafted for each unanswered review, for the owner to approve. A simple ask-for-a-review card and link set up for after each job. |
| Photos | A logo and two older photos. | A plan for 10 to 15 real photos: the truck, the team, a few finished installs (no customer addresses shown). |
| Services | Blank. | Service list filled in: AC repair, AC install, furnace repair, maintenance plans, each with a one-line description. |
| Description | One line with the business name and phone number. | Two or three plain sentences: what they do, which areas they cover, how long they've been around. |
The biggest gap: no hours. People searching "AC repair near me" in summer are often in a hurry, and a listing with no hours looks like it might be closed.
EXAMPLE · not a real business
Example 2: a roofing contractor in Las Vegas
| Item | Before | After (the fix) |
|---|---|---|
| Reviews | 4.0 stars from under 10 reviews. One unhappy review from last year has no reply. | A calm, polite owner reply drafted for the unhappy review (no arguing, an offer to talk). A steady, honest way to ask every finished customer for a review. |
| Photos | Stock photos of roofs that aren't theirs. | Stock photos swapped for real job photos: before and after on actual roofs, the crew, the trucks. |
| Services | "Roofing" only. | Listed by type: tile repair, shingle replacement, roof inspections, leak repair, coatings. |
| Description | Mentions a city they no longer serve. | Rewritten to match the real service area today. |
| Hours | Listed, but no holiday hours. | Holiday hours added so Google doesn't show "Hours might differ." |
| Updates | Last post over a year ago. | One short update a month: a recent job, a seasonal tip, or a crew photo. |
The biggest gap: very few reviews next to nearby roofers with hundreds. A homeowner comparing three roofers usually picks one of the others first.

Example 3: a landscaping company in Las Vegas
| Item | Before | After (the fix) |
|---|---|---|
| Reviews | 5.0 stars, but only 4 reviews. | A review-request link and a short thank-you text the owner can send after each job. No discounts or gifts for reviews (Google doesn't allow it). |
| Categories | "Landscaper" only, while much of the work is irrigation and desert yard conversions. | Secondary categories added for the work they really do, like "Landscape designer" or an irrigation category, but only where that matches their real work. |
| Photos | None from the owner. A few blurry customer photos. | Owner photos added: finished yards, rock and turf work, drip systems. |
| Services | Blank. | Filled in: desert landscaping, turf removal, drip irrigation repair, yard cleanup, tree trimming. |
| Description | Blank. | Plain description of the work and the neighborhoods they cover. |
| Review replies | None. | Short thank-you replies to all 4 reviews. |
The biggest gap: great work, but almost nothing on the listing proves it. Photos and a handful more reviews would do most of the work.
What these have in common
Most gaps take under an hour to fix once someone sits down to do it. The owner can do every one of these themselves. If they'd rather not, that's what the Get found plan is for.
