Service-area businesses

If you go to your customers (contractors, mobile services, cleaners) and don't want your home address on Google, the listing can be set up as a service-area business with the address hidden and your service areas shown instead.

The rules I follow

  • You keep ownership of your listing. I'm added as a manager, and you can remove me any time.
  • I never write, post or buy reviews, and nothing is posted without your OK.
  • Ask every customer, not just happy ones, and don't offer discounts or gifts for reviews. Google's rules don't allow either.
  • No promises about search rankings or review counts. Nobody can honestly promise those.
